Head of People & Culture D&CH (m/f/d)
The ideal candidate closely collaborates with Commercial Offices in Germany and Switzerland. This involves a strategic partnership with the sales department and being responsible for the People & Culture Operations.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
Hold complete People
& Culture leadership responsibility for Germany and Switzerland, shaping and executing the regional people agenda- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, compact multidisciplinary P&C team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team, providing strategic guidance on organizational design, talent, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, and change management
- Drive the regional execution of the global People & Culture strategy, ensuring local relevance while maintaining global consistency
- Lead and coordinate the annual HR cycle, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation processes, and employee engagement initiatives
- Partner closely with business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, employee experience, and leadership effectiveness across all functions
- Ensure the consistent implementation and governance of People & Culture policies, programs, and processes across the region
- Provide regional leadership for the global annual HR cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving key initiatives
- Champion cultural transformation and engagement initiatives that support business growth, innovation, and a high-performance environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, internal policies, and governance requirements in Germany and Switzerland
- Serve as a strategic P&C advisor and sparring partner
- Secure full compliance with all levels of governance
- Direct the effective management of payroll, benefits, and P&C policies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and operational rigor
Your qualification:
- Extensive, end-to-end People & Culture expertise within the German market
- Proven track record as a senior HR business partner or People leader, successfully influencing executives and driving business-focused people strategies
- In-depth understanding of employment legislation in both Germany and Switzerland
- Strong analytical acumen
- Exceptional interpersonal capabilities, enabling effective collaboration across regions, functions, and stakeholder groups
- Significant experience translating global people strategies into impactful regional execution
- Experience working in matrix organizations and collaborating effectively across regions, functions, and cultures
- Proficiency with SuccessFactors or comparable HR information systems
- Fluent in German and English
